Whether you're fishing, hiking, picnicking, boating, exploring, or just looking for peace and tranquility, you definitely need to visit this magnificent area. Great place to walk and ride bikes! Picnic tables everywhere and bathroom access! I go fishing here alot as well..
Another place to me is a must see. This isn't the only damm on the river. Before you get here there is 2 other places to look at with a walk to see up close of the fixed smaller damms. When I was there was 4 boats fishing for speckled trout. Bring you pole. Thay was catching some.
Beautiful place, the only down side is it will probably be ruined in the next 5 years cause people dont know how to take care of places ,respect it and pick their trash up and throw it away
Just a quick stop after leaving Bristol Caverns. Nice view of the dam and mountains lining the river. Can drive through or park and observe for a bit.
